When you visit us in the Bisbee Historic District (listed on the National Register of Historic Places), you will savor our history-rich old mining town dating back to 1877. Situated at an altitude of 5300 feet above the surrounding desert, we boast the best climate in the country at an average temperature of 68 degrees. At this altitude our summers are mild, averaging about 15 degrees or more cooler than Phoenix. (Check out Bisbee Weather). Take a walking tour & you'll discover many well-preserved commercial buildings along downtown streets & Victorian-era houses, built in the boom years, clinging to the cliffs of Tombstone Canyon. Your gaze in any direction offers numerous photo opportunities. The Bisbee Visitor Center is located at the Queen Mine Tour.
All around us you will find restaurants, antique shops, art galleries, and museums. Originally built in 1903 by the Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Company to give Bisbee residents a healthy place to recreate, the building was renovated into spacious apartments in the 1980's. These apartments with private bathrooms and kitchens are now fully furnished for travelers to Bisbee and Southeast Arizona a place to curl up for the night ~ a home away from home, instead of just a hotel room. We offer the best valued lodging among all Bisbee hotels in downtown Old Bisbee. See our suites.
Several of these loft style hotel suites feature decks or large windows with panoramic views of our town nestled in the Mule Mountains as well as the surrrounding vistas of Mexico just 8 miles away. Some suites have cathedral ceilings & sky lights that create bright spaces. Click on this link to see our suites. Each suite is unique offering diversity & style. We offer cable TV & in-room wireless internet service. Free on-site laundry facility, an elevator, & public parking are all conveniently available for our guests. The building still retains its charm of yesterday with a secure modern ambience.
